tokenproof has built an integration with Shopify to allow store owners to begin token-gating products and offers to customers while keeping customers’ digital assets safe.

The integration consists of Shopify native apps for online storefronts as well as in-store POS. Once installed and configured, these apps will allow store owners to create campaigns, which are offers made to shoppers based on their crypto token holdings.

Users no longer have to risk their prized assets to purchase merchandise.

Storefront (Online)

Customers accessing online storefronts may browse all products that are offered by the store. However, they may encounter a product with a token-gated offer.

For example, ancient glade is an exclusive product only available to Mutant Ape Yacht Club token holders. In order to gain access to add the product to their cart, the shopper must:

1. Click “Authenticate with tokenproof” which will render a QR code
2. Scan the tokenproof QR code with their tokenproof mobile app
3. Select the address/es they would like to share with the store to unlock offers

Eligible Offers

Once a shopper’s holdings are authenticated, they are eligible for the product! The “add to cart” button is now accessible to the shopper.

Stacking Campaigns

Given that Campaigns will grant a shopper the greatest offer their token holdings are eligible for, store owners can stack campaigns on products. For example, if a store owner wanted to token-gate access to a product and apply a discount for certain NFT collections then they would create two concurrent campaigns.

Campaign 1 - Limit access to the product for all NFT collection smart contract addresses

Campaign 2 - Apply discount to the product for specific NFT collection smart contract addresses
